Meet Founder, Sam Bradford
With over two decades of experience, Sam has built a formidable reputation for driving success across some of Australia’s most recognised organisations including BHP, Carlton and United Breweries (CUB), Foster’s, and Aveo.
Sam has extensive experience coaching senior executives and C -suite leaders; designing and executing commercial people strategies and technical capability programs; leading organisational design and transformation projects; and developing high-performing teams.
As a Strategic HR Consultant, Sam helps businesses navigate workforce challenges, optimise leadership structures and implement scalable solutions that drive efficiency and long-term growth. Her vision for Atelienne is to help organisations realise what is possible - and support them to achieve it.
Employee Relations Director
Meet Licia McGroarty
Licia is an Employee Relations Leader; qualified workplace investigator, mediator, and qualified lawyer with 20 years’ experience across the mining, renewables, construction, health care, tertiary education, and finance sectors.
Licia is passionate about engaging leaders to improve workplace culture. She regularly investigates complex workplace investigations and psychosocial reviews; advocates before the industrial commissions, including Fair Work Australia and the Anti-Discrimination bodies; and develops and leads enterprise bargaining strategies that are commercially astute and lead to improved workplace engagement and culture.
Prior to becoming Director at Atelienne, Licia led employee relations for BHP globally and for the BHP Mitsubishi Alliance; was the National Employee Relations Manager at Laing O’Rourke Australia Construction Pty Ltd and Associate to Commissioner Paula Spencer with Fair Work Australia.
Licia’s recent achievements include steering a post‑merger bargaining for one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds and reporting on, and implementing Respect at Work reforms at a national health provider. She is known for strategic thinking, pragmatic problem solving and quickly building trusted relationships with stakeholders to achieve value-driven and commercial outcomes.
